Popped in for an evening meal. Pork, apple and cider pie was delicious Hubby had cheesy mash with his Dad's beef and mushroom pie (I nicked a bit and it was definitely cheesy) Lovely triple fried chips and onion gravy. Coming from up North I was suitably impressed

Great stay! 10/10 for value for money! I saw mixed reviews, but enough good ones that I thought I'd try it, since it was cheap and very close to the airport. I was tired when I arrived and couldn't figure out the key code to enter the room, I whatsapped the number as instructed on the welcome email and in a couple of minutes a lovely gentleman was there to help me, I just had to open it! I felt so stupid, but he was very nice about it. There's a bar and restaurant downstairs, and they will even bring meals up to your room! I wish I was hungry!! I would love to try it! The room was gorgeous! So nicely decorated and clean, the bed was really comfy, there were tea and coffee making facilities, and it was really cosy and warm when I went in! A glass for water would be a great extra, but I just used the mug. I could hardly hear the planes, there is a road outside, but there was almost no traffic during the night. This was way better than I expected for the bargain price of £35 and I would go out of my way to stay again! Thank you!

After my girlfriend and I’s cars broke down, we weary travellers sought refuge in the pub. We were greeted by an adorable dog, and the sweetest couple who welcomed us in, and prepared us a delicious Sunday roast and homemade cottage pie. The pub was warm, cozy, charming, and clean. Thank you <3

A genuinely wonderful place to be! I have dined numerous times at this restaurant and am continuously impressed by the quality and consistency of service, meals and fantastic coffee. The chef takes humble dishes and transforms them into fantastic meals worth trying again and again with absolute confidence he will give you a fantastic meal every time. The service and coffee are faultless. The staff/owners approach you at a personal level with a keen interest in making your evening a delight, and the coffee they serve is the best I have had all over the country. The icing is the prices, which are incredibly reasonable, and actually undersell the quality of this establishment. The restaurant has a wonderful characterful décor and setting which is a pleasure to be in. My only observation to consider is some of the seating is not ideal for good posture, so be sure to get in sooner than others for the 'good seats'. All seating is comfortable and well laid out, however I have spent numerous continuous hours in the restaurant working in the evening and am conscious of how it tires my back at times. But this is genuinely all I can personally 'nit pick' about. A genuinely wonderful place to be!

This place is great. We had two delicious roast dinners. One Beef, the meat was cooked very well, and one vegetarian Wellington. Both were served with fresh tasty vegetables. We were served by Bella who was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this pub.

Close to the airport, the sheets smelt clean. Honestly, For the price, it's great! Would stay again. If you're looking for 5star accommodation, id look elsewhere. If you're looking for cheap and cheerful, look no further

Absolutely love this pub! Very friendly staff and quick service. They hold exciting events, I have been to the drag brunch and I must say it was so funny and very enjoyable. The room I stayed in was very cosy and clean. The location is very good as it’s next to the airport and there is a shop close by. Would reccomend and I’ll definitely be coming again!
